Entecho's Hoverpod - The Revolutionary Flying Saucer

Australian company Entecho has designed a prototype of a cylindrical fan-forced flying saucer steered by directing the downward airflow through a skirt, allowing directional control.The vehicle called Entecho Hoverpod is stable in flight and the system is mechanically simple.It is also quite easy to navigate using a small joystick controller.
The ducting that surrounds the inner pod, housing the rotating blades, is largely hollow, meaning that in the event of a crash, it will act as an enhanced crumple zone. The low blade speeds - around a fifth the speed of a conventional rotorcraft - help reduce both safety and environmental issues found in other rotorcraft.
The Hoverpod is totally VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) and could become a revolution in personal transportation . The size of this vehicle is 5 feet 2.7m in diameter,has up to 3 seats and it could fly up to 1.5m above the ground....(read entire article)

The first Apple computer in history was called Apple-1 and was the result of the development efforts of Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs, and Ron Wayne.The machine was developed in the bedroom of Steve Wozniak's home on 11161 Crist Drive in Los Altos.Steve Wozniak built the printed circuit-board, while Ron Wayne wrote the Apple-1 Operation Manual at his home.The task of Steve Jobs was to advertise Apple-1 to friends and family which were the first people who previewed the Apple-1 in action during a May 1976 meeting of the Homebrew Computer Club.The owner of Byte Shop(the only computer store chain at that time) Paul Terell was impressed of the Apple-1 and made an offer to buy 50 fully assembled computers for 500$ each.Apple later sold the Apple I for $666.66.
